Li Baoying . 李宝英

Born in Beijing, P.R.China.

1978 - 1982: BA; Studies at the prestigious Oil Painting Department of Central Academy of Fine Art, Beijing.
2007 - 2009: MA; Postgraduate studies at College of Fine Arts UNSW, Sydney.

Current collaboration engaged with 4 prestigious photographers in the production and curatorship of a photographic exhibition in China. also engaged in creating, producing Australia wilderness landscape photographic art and oil paintings for 2012 solo exhibition. An artistic compilation entitled "The Song of Leeawuleena ( Lake St Clair ) is in editing and producing.
With prominet artist Dai Shihe together curating a group show in Beijing.

1985 : Curated an nationally well know 1985 art exhibition: "The November Exhibition" (十一月画展) at Beijing Museum Gallery. The exhibition was a significant exhibition in Chinese contemporary art development and movement in the 80's.

My works are figurative, landscapes and portraiture, photography in oil, acrylic, drawing and mixed media. I have participated 30 groups exhibitions and 4 solo exhibitions both in China and Australia. from the National Art Gallery of China , Beijing Museum, The Parliament House of NSW, Universities and the Private Galleries. my works have been collected nationally and internationally.

李宝英,北京人。1982毕业于中央美术学院油画系第三画室。2007-2009在新南维尔大学美术学院就读研究生。李宝英的作品主要是人物，风景和肖像。运用油画,摄影，丙烯及混合材料。其作品在中国美术馆，北京博物院画廊和澳洲悉尼市政府，大学及私人画廊等参与了30个联展，4个个展。作品被收藏于国内外的大学，画廊，公司及私人。李宝英曾作过美术教学,画展策展人和美术编辑。近日在研究尝试将新材料运用到表现人物和风景上。
